In the previous article on podcast microphone , although I mentioned that I'm going to buy a large dynamic microphone, but finally it happened, that I bought another.
Upon arrival at the Music Trade in fact I had the opportunity to try SAMSON Q1U notebook, but now I see that there is a problem. The microphone is stereo and for some reason in the right channel sound is about 70% lower than the left. This recording would not look good ... maybe it was the fault of a particular piece. Moreover Q1U was really difficult and impractical.
Owner of the store was nice and remembered that there are other USB microphone from SAMSON company, and that when you want to use with a laptop, so I probably fit more - Samson Go Mic .
So we tried it in place and I liked. Sound recorded steadily, the noise seemed to be at an acceptable level and in addition has a switch on unidirectional (cardioid) vs. omnidirectional (omni) sensitivity.
It is therefore a condenser microphone, because the dynamic we really had to speak from a distance of about 5 cm and it was too close. I'd probably difficult to hold the microphone and it was right on the computer. Dynamic microphones are great for singers ![]()
I also like that the clip has to be attached to display, but which can also be used as a stand in addition to USB and listening with a headphone jack, so now you know, if you encounter interference noise in the record.
One note ... When you plug the USB microphone, you disconnect the PC output jack on your headphones and you have to engage into the microphone. This is a little impractical, but it has some reason.
Connecting an audio demo yet, which is clearly visible difference in quality vs the USB microphone. headsetový classic analog microphone connected to your sound card.
